About me

Sarah is a self taught artist and entrepreneur from Altoona, Pennsylvania. She owns and operates The Clay Cup, a specialty coffee shop and pottery painting studio merged into one unique space located in historic Downtown Altoona, PA. She also owns and operates Westfall Coffee Company, a small-batch,  specialty coffee roastery. She is passionate about creating spaces for people to connect and making art accessible to all people including teaching classes and events that educate and spur creativity. One of her goals is to help people express themselves and find what they are passionate about through art. Sarah has partnered with many local private and public schools and charities to provide art instruction for educational and fundraising purposes. Sarah has licensed artwork for both retail and commercial use with nationally renowned companies. In 2018, she was chosen as one of the Sheetz Fleet Art Project winners. Her watercolor designs currently cover Sheetz gas tankers and tractor trailers which travel throughout the east-coast. In 2018, 6 of her watercolor designs were licensed and reproduced on throw pillows for TJ Maxx. Sarah also illustrated the children's books "Pickles and Prayer", "Pineapples and Praise", "Bubs with the Nubs" and authored and illustrated her own children's book "The Sock Flock".  She primarily works in mediums such as watercolor, colored pencil and ink. Her favorite subject to paint is always food, because everyone can relate to that!
